- try liteCam
- Just use Total Screen Recorder to record video with sound. And it can save as video file with high quality. Download Link: http://www.totalscreenrecorder.com/download.html

- Well, to download FLV videos like from youtube and other sources, I suggest using ORBIT DOWNLOADER (google it). But to record streaming audio I suggest AUDACITY you can either google it or click my links to get a direct download from my plunder.com account. You will need to download the audacity-Lame_v3.98.2_for_Audacity_on_Windows to encode into MP3 though or U will have huge WAV files on your hard drives. Audacity Complete for Windows RAR file -download st the link following this sentence- http://www.plunder.com/-download-2f8a9b8a3c.htm Audacity Complete for Windows ZIP file -download st the link following this sentence- http://www.plunder.com/-download-19af41cb50.htm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audacity http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ EFF
- I tried DemoCreator and it worked to record the audio along with the video. Here are some settings about the audio device: http://www.sameshow.com/democreator/tutorial/add-sound-to-demo.html#107 Here are 3 input sources to choose: Microphone, Rear Input, and Stereo Mix. Stereo Mix is for recording the playing audio in the computer(no need of speakers). But if you just want to record a YouTube video, you may try some software like Youtube downloader.
- I think the problem you're having is that the camstudio just records screens, and you want to reroute audio from your browser to an audio recording software virtually - like a software audio cable plugged from firefox to audacity - as an example. if that's the case, i'd say check out VAC (virtual audio cable) for PC http://www.ntonyx.com/vac.htm or Soundflower for a Mac http://www.cycling74.com/products/soundflower They let you create those virtual audio re-patchings and record audio playing out of one program into another. BUT you'll still have to resync the video and audio yourself. I think the suggestion of getting a simple flash (.flv) downloader makes the most sense, as it grabs audio and video as one file, and you can then convert this file into other video formats if you'd like. I like http://www.flvsoft.com/download_flv/ for downloading and http://www.ffmpeg.org/download.html for all that converting stuff. Seriously, if you want some of these audio/sound tech questions answered, check out http://AskASoundGuy.com you can email some audio nerd directly- they give out their email askasoundguy@gmail.com and they actually seem to get off on answering questions about this stuff.
