using apple ID and your password to wirelessly download in a place does that information save to that place?

i have an ipod touch and am going on vacation soon and i want to be able to download music and update apps wirelessly to do so it will ask for my apple id and password or it will have my apple id and ask for my password but anyway will it save any of that information to that place where if anyone else downloads anything they would have that information ?

1. yeah, it's fine to use public wifi connections. Your info (passwords, id, ect) won't be saved to that place, but would only be saved on your ipod. The only way someone could possibly see what you downloaded or used the internet for is if the internet provider looked at the internet records of that place (which ONLY the company can do). Yeah, don't worry about it. :)
