Do you have to use the Apple USB to charge iPod?
I'm on vacation and I forgot to bring it, but my cousin has a Sansa mp3 playe charger that fits in my iPod, but it won't show any signs of working after five minutes. I don't know whether this is because my iPod's battery is 0 and it takes time; or if there's something wrong with it. Also, the computer that I'm on doesn't recgonize the device and it says something malfunctioned, so I'm a bit confused. Any help? But the iPod is getting quite warm when connected.

- You should get on your computer and get your apple usb thats why nothing will work
- You don't have to use Apple products but , you do have to use a USB that is made for iPods. You can get them anywhere I have even seen them in gas stations.
- I doubt that it works in the ipod. Only cords designed especially for the ipods usually work. I suggest you unplug it right away, or you may cause damage to your ipod.
